Need help with a conversion?
Check supported formats and the troubleshooting guides first. If a file fails, note the displayed error code, source format and approximate size. Never share private audio or a download link in a public support request.

THE COMPLETE GUIDE
Make a conversion problem easier to understand
A useful support description identifies the failing stage and the file properties without exposing the recording. Start with these checks and prepare a clear, minimal report.
Identify the last successful stage
Did the file fail to upload, get rejected during validation, remain queued, fail during processing or download but refuse to play? These are different symptoms. Record the visible error code and stage before trying again. A service-unavailable response is not evidence of a bad recording, and a codec rejection is not usually fixed by waiting for the queue.
| File or concept | Relationship | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| The failure stage | narrows | the next troubleshooting action |
| The error code | describes | the reported problem without the private audio |
Collect properties rather than the private content
Useful details are the container or extension, audio codec if known, approximate byte size, duration, output bitrate and channel setting. Add browser and operating-system versions for picker, preview or download issues. Say whether the original plays locally and whether the saved MP3 plays in another compatible player.
- Error code and last visible stage
- Source format, approximate size and duration
- Selected bitrate and channels
- Browser/device and reproducible steps

An example of a useful report
“A local WebM of about 8 MB and two minutes uploads successfully, then reports UNSUPPORTED_CODEC. I selected 192 kbps and Auto. The original plays in my desktop player.” This describes input, stage and settings without sharing the recording. It gives support a clearer starting point than “the converter is broken.” This is a report template, not a real user testimonial.
Use the guide that matches the symptom
For silent video, check the missing-audio guide. For format rejection, compare the published codec matrix. For unexpected file size, use the bitrate calculation. For a phone picker problem, export a local file first and consult the phone workflow. Fixing the right cause is more useful than repeated uploads with random settings.
